Iraj is a veteran of the streaming industry. His industry accomplishments include:

• Championed, chaired, and completed MPEG-DASH and MPEG CMAF standards from the beginning to the end.
• Founder and President of DASH Industry Forum, seeing it through the merger with the SVTA.
• Executive Director of AOMedia.
• Co-chair of MPEG’s CMAF subgroup
• Co-editor of MPEG-DASH standard.
• Participated in AOMedia, DVB, DLNA, DECE, 3GPP, CTA WAVE on video coding & streaming standardization, and collaborated with HbbTV, DTG, W3C, ATSC.
