(DRAFT) SVTA2051: Open Caching Architecture Specification
Open-Caching is a content delivery architecture which specializes in having caching resources in Service-Provider (SP) networks and in exposing open and industry standard APIs. The consumers of such caching resources can be different Content-Publisher (CP), other Content-Delivery Networks (CDNs) and internally by the Service-Providers. Hereafter these consumers are referred to as upstream-CDNs or in short uCDNs. This architecture document project is intended to be the reader’s entry point to the domain of Open-Caching thus it focuses on the high level architecture and design guidelines of Open-Caching.
