- SVTA Event Sponsorship
SVTA events, from member meetings to conferences, are attended by industry practitioners: engineers, operations, and product management. These are the people who want to see how technology works and are interested in finding technical solutions to their streaming challenges.
Why Should You Sponsor an SVTA Event?
There are many reasons to sponsor an SVTA event:
- Brand recognition. The SVTA member companies are actively trying to solve technical challenges in streaming video. By sponsoring an SVTA event, your brand can be associated with a possible solution.
- Industry commitment. By sponsoring an SVTA event, you are signalling to the industry that your company is an integral part of the streaming community and that you support the work being done by the SVTA.
- Reaching the right audience. By sponsoring an SVTA event, you are putting your brand, and potentially your technology, in front of an audience that is actively seeking solutions to key technology challenges in the streaming industry.
- Acknowledgement. All sponsors will be acknowledged in perpetuity on the event webpage as well as in any communication, such as social media post or press release, issued in support of the event.
Why Should You Support an SVTA Open-Source Project With Sponsorship?
There are many reasons to sponsor an SVTA open-source project:
- Ensure Availability. If you are actively employing an open-source technology in your production environment, supporting it through sponsorship ensures that it remains available, bugs are addressed, and features added.
- Industry commitment. By sponsoring an open-source project managed by the SVTA, you are signalling to the industry that your company is an integral part of the streaming community and that you support the work being done by the SVTA.
- Advancing Development. Sponsoring open-source projects that you actively use in production or development ensures that features will continue to be added.
- Acknowledgement. All sponsors will be acknowledged in perpetuity on the open-source project page, or dedicated microsite, as well as in any communication, such as social media post or press release, issued in support of the project.

We did our product reveal at a demo table during an SVTA event where we were one of a handful of tables with a refined crowd of thought leaders and decision makers. The event put us on the map, and set the stage for multiple key partnerships.

How Can You Sponsor?
Depending upon the event, from parties to member meetings, there are various ways that you can contribute to the SVTA’s work:
General Sponsorship
General sponsors are acknowledged multiple times throughout the event and identified by level. Their logos are prominently displayed. General sponsorship levels often include other perks like being able to address attendees or special interview sessions with the SVTA CEO.
Specific Sponsorship
From coffee carts to happy hours to wifi, sponsors can choose where they want their logo to be displayed and how they want their company associated with the event.
Demo Table
Many SVTA events have specific places where sponsors can set up tables. This is similar to larger trade show events (like NAB and IBC) but in a far more focused and intimate setting, providing more time for meaningful conversations and hands-on product demonstrations.
Project Maintenance
The SVTA currently maintains several open-source projects. Sponsorship of one or more of these programs helps ensure that these tools, such as dash.js, remain available to the industry for production and testing purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Anyone can sponsor one of our meetings. But if you are not a member and choose to do a demo table sponsorship (which includes physical attendance at the meeting), you will not be able to attend any of the sessions.
Although we don’t publish any specific bundles for sponsoring multiple events, we are open to discussing opportunities with organizations looking at sponsoring multiple events during a given year.
We only provide attendee list information to SVTA member companies. So if you are not a current member but elect to sponsor, you will not have access to any attendee information.
