Streaming Video Technology Alliance Member Companies
SVTA members represent participants from across the streaming video ecosystem: network operators (i.e., ISPs), OTT platforms and content owners, service providers (i.e., CDNs), and technology vendors. We have two primary membership levels (Principal and Supporting) which define the member’s rights within the SVTA.
Sponsors
Sponsor members have permanent seats on the board of directors and rights according to a Principal member.
Principal
Principal members are entitled to full rights within the organization. They can lead working groups, projects, vote on documents, and be voted to the board.
Supporting
Supporting members have observation rights. They can join all calls and attend all meetings but they cannot participate like Principal members.
Other Brands
Many of the larger members have acquired, or merged with, other video companies, technology companies, rights holders, etc. As part of our by-laws, member companies may bring as many people to participate as they wish including those from subsidiary, parent, or majority-owned brands.
Grant Recipents
Grant recipients have the rights of a Principal member for 1 year. Their membership in the grant program is reviewed annually by the board.
