SVTA Open-Source projects, such as dash.js, Livesim2, and CML, provide key technologies to streaming video tech stacks. These projects, while maintained by the SVTA, include contributes from across the industry.
Why Should You Sponsor an SVTA Open-Source Project?
There are many reasons to sponsor an SVTA Open-Source project:
- Industry commitment. By helping to fund the development and maintenance of key technologies used throughout the industry, like dash.js, you are communicating your commitment and support of these projects.
- Industry credibility. For technologies like dash.js, which is widely used in production environments, your support tells your partners, customers, and employees that you are a contributor to foundational technology in the industry.
- Continual acknowledgement. All sponsors will be acknowledged on the OSS project page in perpetuity.

We did our product reveal at a demo table during an SVTA event where we were one of a handful of tables with a refined crowd of thought leaders and decision makers. The event put us on the map, and set the stage for multiple key partnerships.

How Can You Sponsor?
When it comes to OSS projects, there are two primary ways to show your support:
Financial Sponsorship
Companies that want to contribute financially to an OSS project. The money is used to fund development and maintenance work. All proceeds go directly to the project.
