Streaming Video Alliance Hosts 2022 East Coast STREAMup

Virtual Meetup to Focus on Advertising-Based Video On-Demand (AVOD)

 

FREMONT, Calif. — April 6, 2022 — The Streaming Video Alliance (the Alliance), a global technical association developing solutions to address critical technical challenges in delivering a high-quality video experience at scale, is hosting a virtual meetup today, April 6, 2022 from 4:30pm until 6:00pm ET. The virtual meetup is available to both members and non-members. The event is specifically scheduled to accommodate the streaming community on the East Coast, however it is open to all who would like to participate.

 

“The industry is facing a bevy of new challenges as advertising becomes more prevalent in streaming services,” said Jason Thibeault, Executive Director at the Streaming Video Alliance. “We’re excited to focus on advertising-based streaming models in this meetup and have some great speakers onboard to dive into the technical issues and solutions.”

 

The 2022 East Coast STREAMup will feature:

 

  • Chris Hock of Adobe presenting “Future Proofing Video Ad Monetization”
  • Alex Savage of ABS-CBN presenting “Enriching Granular VOD data”
