Meeting Recap

With over 70 attendees, the member meeting held at Fox Studios provided a forum for technical discussions and networking. David Wertheimer, President, Digital, FOX Broadcasting Company gave they keynote address. Mr. Wertheimer has a long history in digital entertainment, previously serving as the President of Paramount Digital Entertainment and as the CEO of USC’s Entertainment Technology Center. We had a total of nine different break-out sessions that addressed various topics of interest within the video streaming ecosystem. Topics of discussion included open caching, scaling online video, quality of experience (QoE), and OTT. The day also included a private VIP tour of the Fox Studios lot as well as a networking reception at the renowned Commissary Dining Room.
