SVTA IPR Policy (Version 10/07/2025)

The Streaming Video Technology Alliance IP Policy explains how IP, contributed by member companies to Alliance documents or projects, is handled. This version made some slight language tweaks to section 2.1 and 4.4, which were missed in the 1/14/2025a update, and removed 4.8 as it no longer applied under the change from member-only to everyone RAND licensing. In addition, section 4.4 was revised to ensure that claims contributed during one version of a document carried through subsequent versions as well.
