  • Examining the OTT Technology Stack

Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:00am (PT)

On the surface, streaming seems rather simple: encode some content, package it for segmented delivery, put it on a server, and then request it from a player. But actually delivering a stable, resilient, consistent streaming experience is far from that simple. Building an OTT platform requires the combination of dozens of different interoperable technologies, spread out over private networks and public cloud providers, all scalable and secure. In this webinar, we will explore the technology stack that makes up a typical OTT service and some best practices to help assure a great viewer experience. This webinar will be moderated by Jason Thibeault, Executive Director of the Streaming Video Alliance.
